Havator Group to the new scale in access platforms

11.11.2007

Havator Group has purchased in its fleet two Wumag WT 1000 personal lifts that have the highest reach of all lifts existing in the world. Their maximum working height is 102.5 meters (cage floor height 100.5 meters) and outreach is 36 meters (200 kilos). The chassis is that of a five-axle All-Terrain crane.

In addition to this, Havator Group bought at the same time one Wumag WT 530 lift that has a maximum working height of 53 meters. "We had a need for this additional investment because our aim is to fulfill all customer needs", stated Havator Group Chairman of the Board Erkki Hanhirova. "These new lifts enable us to get straight inside steel constructions in horizontal direction which saves building expense of scaffolding remarkably. Besides, these machines function excellently for example in maintenance work of wind mills and high city locations where traffic and street environment set their own limits and challenges", Hanhirova continues. "We have altogether over 20 depots, so our wide market area demanded the purchase of two big truck mounted personal lifts. This enables us to give good service to our customers throughout our whole market area", says Erkki Hanhirova.

The new acquisitions of big personal lifts diversify and improve Havator Group´s service to an even higher level. Up to now Havator has already 400 different types of personal lifts starting from small battery powered scissors lifts to ruck mounted lifts reaching 68 meters. "Our wide range of personal lifts offers a solution to most demanding industrial and building working sites. When we deliver a personal lift, the customer is always trained to use it , so safety at work is also guaranteed", Erkki Hanhirova points out. "Our fleet offers possibilities to total solutions that the customer would not even think of when planning a project. For example, window cleaning in demanding city locations can be accomplished via Havator with full service-principle. We have professionals representing different branches among our subcontractors", Hanhirova concludes.
