Havator AB has bought all of the stocks of BinSell i Uppsala AB. BinSell i Uppsala AB operates in lift services, service work and handling of heavy loads and has a turnover of approx. 80 million Swedish krona. Company employs 50 people, who will continue to work with the company and Havator Group. The company has 22 cranes in size of 23-300 tons of lifting capacity.
According to the management at Havator, this acquisition is an important step in strengthening the position of the group in Central Sweden.
"The acquisition of BinSell i Uppsala AB is a part of the strategic development of Havator AB in Sweden. BinSell i Uppsala fits well in Havator`s excisting network of offices . With this acquisition, we strengthen our base and the possibility for further geographical expansion in Sweden. Our market position is also strengthe ned, which gives a good basis for providing even more complex services and solutions to our customers," says Peter Nilsson, Director Operations Sweden.
The Greater Stockholm area is one of the priority areas for developing Havator's operations in Sweden. For instance, in August Havator signed a contract of six million Euros with Betongmästarna i Sverige for the installation of the concrete structures of the Stockholmsarena. Havator will be installing the structural sections, roof sections, beams, arched structures and the outer wall sections of the new arena. The total number of sections in this project is approximately 20 000. Havator and BinSell have previous experience of working together in arena projects.
"The acquisition is important for the development of the company, as we will be a part of a larger group. I knew Havator from before and the company is known for its modern machinery for larger and demanding jobs. Our equipment will complement well Havator's existing fleet. In addition, our location will be an important part of Havator's network," says Jan Winberg, CEO of BinSell i Upsala AB.
Havator has already offices in Southern Sweden in Nyköping, Norrköping, Linköping, Motala and Göteborg as well in Stenungsund and Sundvall. Havator's other offices in Sweden are located in Örnsköldvik, Umeå, Skellefteå, Piteå, Luleå, Kalix and Kiruna.
